Have coffee with me

Sending you over to Southern Bourbon Mountains today.  A reminder that the gladness of Christmas is hope and love.  A great post you really must read.  Click here.

Then pop back here, and share with us whether the post changed your week at all, and Friday, December 23rd, I'll send a randomly selected guest a gift card for a cup of coffee for you and a friend at Starbucks.  How fun is that?

  1. Oh my gosh, these are some of the sweetest stories I have read. I have tears running down my face. How kind of someone to do this. I know exactly what I am going to do.
Thank you for sharing this with me. Sometimes we forget how fortunate we are!

  2. It is going to change my week! I am going to make sure!
We do forget how fortunate we are!!!

  3. SS- I had planned to post something completely different today, but happened upon SBM while I was having my morning coffee, and was completely taken with her post.
PB- I know it will change my week too!

  4. I was tearing up reading about the random kindness of others and you are right, it does help you to prioritize during the season. Thank you.

  5. Love it! I just went and read it, and must say that was totally heart and soul warming and embodies the true meaning of Christmas in every way. Thank you!

  6. That's the most heart warming story I've read in a long, long time! Puts everything in perspective! Yes, the post has changed a few things...

    Merry Merry,

  7. I have heard (first reading on a blog) about this and it 'has' made my week! Even saw a story on Nightline last night interviewing some of the people who's accounts were paid in full. It is so heartwarming.
I wish you and Parker a very Merry Christmas!

p.s. thank you so much for leaving your "calling card!"

  8. Just read it. I've had things like that happen a few times in my life and they have left a lasting impression that changes the way I view humankind forever.
